The Lodge Wine & Business Hotel

Vicaima was the door brand elected to provide expression to The Lodge Wine & Business Hotel. This five-star hotel is the result of the conversion of an old port wine cellar. Located in the historical heart of Vila Nova de Gaia, alongside the Port wine cellars, The Lodge Wine & Business Hotel, bears the signature of the Atelier Nini Andrade Silva, and is marked in its genesis, by the fusion between modern design and the stamp of tradition.
The Peninsula Paris Hotel
Paris, France
Vicaima was selected to provide joinery solutions for The Peninsula Paris Hotel, which is the first hotel of the HSH Group (Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels) in Europe. Exclusively designed for this project, the brief included doors, frames, skirting boards, panels and technical shafts, with tailor made detailing.
For the room entrances of this hotel, was exclusively developed and certified the Portaro® FD30 AC46dB. The Portaro® FD30 single and door pairs were also supplied for the corridors, and Portaro® FD30 AC41dB pairs for the technical shafts, these being highly effective products with regard to fire resistance and acoustic performance. Matching with the decoration and glamour of this hotel is the design of the Vicaima doors themselves, with flush doors and solid wood customized frames, in an acajou and specific high gloss finish.

Vicaima has added a touch of sophistication and functionality in a new luxury hotel project presented as the "crown jewel" of one of the most exclusive areas on the Moroccan hotel industry. Continually integrating projects in the four corners of the world with major global hotel chains, the company has once again cooperated in the country at the recently opened hotel, The St. Regis La Bahia Blanca Resort, in Tamuda Bay.
Tres Reyes San Sebastián Hotel
San Sebastian, Spain
The inspiring style of the typical manor houses of the Basque Country is the essence of the Tres Reyes San Sebastián Hotel concept. The welcoming and sophisticated ambiance is composed of decorative details such as embossing, checked patterns and reed chairs, all evoking a unique and singular decoration. The Portaro® by Vicaima was chosen to provide a perfect blend of doors with the design of the singularly architectural space created by the interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán’s studio.
Tryp Lisbon Airport Hotel
Lisbon, Portugal
Inspired by the theme of aeronautics, the modern Tryp Lisbon Airport Hotel, integrated several Vicaima solutionswhich improved the comfort and safety of the spaces. The fact that it is located close to the airport, led to a greater concern with the acoustic isolation, reason why the Portaro® FD30 41dB (sound isolation up to 41dB and 30 minute fire resistance) was selected for the entrance of the rooms. Besides this, other solutions were applied in the common areas, such as the Portaro® Sliding (interior door sliding system), technical shafts FD30 and skirtings. The finish chosen was Dekordor HD.

Inspired by the Azorean nature, the 5 star Verde Mar & Spa Hotel, situated on São Miguel Island, was equipped with Vicaima solutions comprising panels and fire and acoustic doors, offering security and comfort in a unique style.

The refurbishment of the historic São Paulo Convent, classified by UNESCO as a world heritage site, resulted in the charming hotel Vila Galé Collection Elvas which selected the Vicaima brand to integrate the emblematic project.

Vicaima again takes part in Vila Galé Group projects, this time in the first 5-star hotel built in Portugal, the first boutique hotel under the Collection sub-brand. Vicaima veneer doors, with their various configurations, were chosen for the decoration, combining both modernity and comfort, of the refurbished Palácio dos Arcos.
